Ilkley Basement Conversion – Damp Basement to Dry Multi Room Living Space
Our client requested that we carry out a full basement waterproofing design, installation and conversion of three basement rooms at her large period mid-townhouse in Ilkley, West Yorkshire to create a TV / Media Room, Large Dining Room and Utility space. Pure designed and installed a bespoke new waterproofing system with twin high capacity pumps, sealed wall / floor membrane and a discreet sub floor perimeter drainage channel. At the same time as upgrading the waterproofing system we installed insulation to walls / ceilings/ floors, drylining and plastered throughout then carried out bespoke joinery works and decorations. A new external staircase was required and to maximise natural day-light fully glazed external doors were also introduced.
