Basement Conversion To Gym, Office, Wine Cellar and Utility Space Commissioned to create additional Habitable Space in Basement

The Brief:
Our clients, Mr. and Mrs Drury, wanted to create additional space in their home in which to store wine, install a gym, install a utility room and install a home office. Pure Basement Systems completed the basement conversion in Knutsford, Cheshire which complimented the large period property.

Mr and Mrs Dury commissioned Pure Basement Systems to design and install a Waterproofing system and carry out all fit-out works which would remediate his damp basement issues resulting ina dry basement.

Result:
Working in partnership with Mr and Mrs Drury, Pure Basement Systems specified a structural waterproofing package to combat the flood water ingress and damp. We install
ed a high performance waterproofing system, complete with a twin sump pump station, perimeter drainage channels and sealed floor and wall cavity drainage membrane. High quality insulation was installed to compliment the waterproofing system and full plastering completed the basement conversion.

The completed project added the significant additional habitable space that Mr and Mrs Dury required, improved the internal air quality and added value to the property.
