Contracted by a premier building contractor to remediate a damp basement
The Brief:
Our client, a premier York building contractor, commissioned Pure Basement Systems to design and install a waterproofing system to remediate the damp in the basement of the large brick built listed town house they were in the process of converting.
The Results:
Working in partnership with our client, Pure Basement Systems specified and installed a bespoke structural waterproofing package comprising 2 high performance twin sump pump stations, perimeter drainage channels and sealed wall and floor cavity drainage membrane. High quality insulation was installed to compliment the waterproofing system before we handed the project over to our clients to complete the conversion.
The completed project facilitated an additional level of living space, improved the internal air quality and added value to the property.
