Our client required a multi room basement conversion at his period semi-detached property constructed on a stepped level site. He wished to create additional storage, move his kitchen and add a shower room.
Our CSSW (Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing) specialist surveyor specified a gravity draining cavity drainage system with a combination automatic sump pump and cavity membrane tanking to create a completely dry internal environment.
After installation of the bespoke basement waterproofing system, we installed high performance insulation to the walls, floors and ceilings, this was followed by dry lining to walls and ceilings with a smooth plaster skim finish. We also installed a light airy bathroom with a luxury shower complete with recessed lights.
