Commissioned to create additional living space
The Brief:
Mr & Mrs Paglia commissioned Pure Basement Systems to waterproof and convert the damp basement in their 1850’s semi-detached property in Wetherby, West Yorkshire creating a new family entertainment room.
The Result:
Working in partnership with Mr & Mrs Paglia, Pure Basement Systems specified and installed a bespoke structural waterproofing package to combat the damp ingress complete with a twin sump pump station, perimeter drainage channels and sealed wall and floor cavity drainage membrane. High quality insulated dry lining was installed to compliment the waterproofing system before Pure performed all the plastering and joinery works required of the project. The installation of designer lighting and the laying of a stunning engineered wood floor completed this high quality basement conversion.
The completed project created an additional level of family space and added value to the property.
