Commissioned to create a home office and additional shower room
The Brief:
Miss Catterall commissioned Pure Basement Systems to convert the damp basement in her traditional Victorian end town house into a home office and shower room.The project involved the design and installation of a bespoke waterproofing system and extensive associated building works.
The Result:
Working in partnership with Miss Catterall, Pure Basement Systems specified a waterproofing package to combat the damp ingress complete with a twin sump pump station, perimeter drainage channels and sealed wall and floor cavity drainage membrane.
The associated building works included the installation of a drainage pump to remove the waste water from the shower, installation of high quality insulation to compliment the waterproofing system, with full plastering and joinery and the installation of the shower room completing the works.
The completed project added useful additional space and value to the property.
