Our client requested that Pure Basement Systems visit their property to help with a cellar which regularly flooded to 1.5metres deep. Mr and Mrs Holliday had a sump pump – but in an open pit which was a health & safety risk and allowed odours into the property. Pure designed and installed a full waterproofing system incorporating a triplesafe (3 appliance sump pump assembly), floor drainage channels and a fully sealed wall and floor membrane system to their basement conversion in Leeds. On completion of the waterproofing application all surfaces in the cellar were insulated and fully dry-lined. A humidity controlled mechanical ventilator and background heating were installed in order to provide our client with dry, warm and ventilated storage space.
