Our clients, Mr and Mrs G in Leeds required their damp, dark unusable cellar to be converted into a dry usable storage facility. The cellar had been “tanked” previously but the system had failed. Pure Basement Systems were contacted to design and prepare a full specification for the basement conversion in Leeds to create dry clean storage space. Pure Basement Systems designed the outline project and carried out the full cellar conversion in Leeds. The cellar conversion consisted of the installation of a full Cavity Drainage Membrane (basement waterproofing) system with two integral twin automatic sump pumps to control groundwater, insulated walls and floors and a full dry-lining solution. Central heating and humidity controlled ventilation was installed to provide a suitable domestic storage environment.
