Our clients, Mr and Mrs K in Leeds required their damp, dark unusable cellar to be converted into two double bedrooms, a family bathroom and additional storage space. Pure Basement Systems were contacted to design and prepare a full specification for the basement conversion in Leeds to create habitable space. Pure designed the outline project and carried out the full Leeds basement conversion including basement external works. The Leeds basement conversion consisted of; structural alterations, the installation of a full Cavity Drainage Membrane (basement waterproofing) system – with two integral twin automatic sump pumps to control groundwater, insulated walls, floors and ceilings and a full dry-lining solution. Central heating and humidity controlled ventilation were installed to provide a suitable domestic living environment.
