Our commercial client was carrying out extensive alterations to a large traditional stone town house in Headingley, Leeds. Part of the building works specification required our client to recruit the services of a specialist waterproofing company to design and install a suitable waterproofing system in line with BS 8102–2009.
Pure Basement Systems CSSW (Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing) qualified surveyor carried out an in depth survey and prepared a full and detailed specification for the cellar tanking works required.
As part of our basement/cellar tanking service we provided a specification for pre and post waterproofing general building enabling works for the contractor’s use to ensure the waterproofing system was not compromised pre/post installation.
The commercial basement waterproofing system was comprised of maintainable discreet perimeter drainage channels, sealed wall and floor cavity drainage membrane and a sump pump assembly with rigid sump liner, fixed lid, pump monitor (to assess how much water is discharged and how often) and twin high capability high quality automatic sump pumps.
Pure Basement Systems offer cellar tanking/basement waterproofing services throughout the UK to both homeowners and commercial clients including architects, surveyors, developers and general building contractors.
