Leeds Basement Conversion – Wet Basement to Dry Storage Area
Our client wanted to use her wet, dark basement at her brick built traditional semi-detached in Leeds, West Yorkshire for dry storage. At our initial survey, our client told us everything in the basement would go mouldy, even after a short period. To solve this problem, Pure installed a bespoke basement waterproofing system to the walls / floor and stairs consisting of cavity drainage membranes, and an automatic sump pump station. We then fitted insulation throughout before dry lining and plastering and completing bespoke joinery works. To remove excess humidity from with the newly waterproofed basement storage room we installed a humidity controlled fan.
