Our client, a West Yorkshire property developer, required an effective waterproofing system designing and installing to BS8012:2009 to meet Premier Building Guarantee specifications for his development of individually designed large new build luxury houses in Halifax.
Pure Basement Systems’ CSSW (Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing) qualified surveyor surveyed the individual plots and specified bespoke waterproofing systems for each. Pure installed cavity drainage basement waterproofing systems comprising of discrete perimeter drainage channels, wall and floor cavity drainage membranes and a sump pump assembly with rigid sump liner, fixed lid, pump monitor ( to assess how much water is discharged and how often) and twin high capability high quality automatic sump pumps.
All the properties featured two stories below ground to areas and required special consideration at changes in floor levels to ensure the waterproofing system fitted was robust and effective.
