Contracted for a large new build waterproofing project
The Brief:
Pure Basement Systems were approached by our client, a large commercial building contractor as subcontract subterranean waterproofing specialists on a large new build nursing home in Garforth, Leeds which was at risk of flooding.
Working with our client and their architect, Pure Basement Systems specified a structural waterproofing system designed to prevent any water ingress and damp. We installed a high performance internal cavity drainage waterproofing system (type c. system) complete with two twin sump pump stations with battery back-up, perimeter drainage channels and sealed wall and floor cavity drainage membrane. This complimented the newly installed externally tanked (type b. system) new build scheme.
The Result:
The completed waterproofing system installation ensured the integrity of the property would not be compromised by flood waters. The project added valuable habitable space and value to the property.
