Michael founded Pure Basement Systems in 2010. He is an experienced CSSW and CSRT qualified surveyor specialising in basement waterproofing and building defect remediation. He has been actively engaged in the construction industry for over 30 years. At Pure, Michael performs basement waterproofing surveys, designs basement waterproofing systems, co-ordinates and manages basement conversion projects, and manages the business side of the company. Outside work Michael enjoys reading, history, road cycling, travelling and eating out.
Corrie joined the Pure Team in 2010. She has over 30 years extensive experience in administration and small business marketing gained in various sectors. Corrie manages the financial and marketing side of Pure Basement Systems. In her spare time Corrie enjoys walking her 3 dogs, generally keeping fit, travelling and eating out. Corrie also loves learning new skills and is a qualified Dog Groomer, Natural juice Therapist, Barista and Level 2 Counsellor and has just completed a barbering course!
Christine joined the Pure Team in 2018. She has extensive experience in administration and customer service gained in the financial services and property management sectors. Christine prides herself on offering all our clients an excellent customer experience and brings her wealth of knowledge of all things property-related to the team. Christine is married with 2 grown up daughters and two gorgeous spaniels who she enjoys walking in her spare time as well as gardening and DIY (at which she is a bit of an expert!). Christine was once mistaken for a member of the royal family by tourists who swarmed to take her photo during her wedding at York Minster.
Steve joined us in 2016, bringing with him over 20 years industry experience. Steve’s main trade is plastering and dry lining, but he has also built up a considerable range of construction skills and knowledge over the years and is a valuable and respected member of the Pure team. Steve brings a conscientious and professional approach to the projects he works on. When not working, Steve enjoys going on holiday and spending time with his friends and family socialising.
Craig joined the Pure team in 2018 to manage our customer’s plumbing and bathroom fitting requirements. Craig is a very knowledgeable and experienced tradesman with a keen eye for detail. In addition to being a qualified plumber, Craig also a very competent and experienced tiler and bathroom fitter. Craig is a true professional and can be relied on to provide our customers with high quality workmanship. In his spare time, family man, Craig enjoys being outdoors and active with his two boys and is also a key figure in his local Scouting group, having grown up in the movement. This involvement led to a meeting with the queen in his early 20’s to collect his Queen’s Scout Award!
Ben joined Pure in 2018 after being head-hunted by us when he did some work for us through an agency. He is an experienced, qualified joiner, particularly skilled in second fix and finishing joinery. Ben is a professional and friendly member of the Pure team. Ben is also a massive football fan, who’s team, Leeds United are poised to re-join the premiership as I type this! When not watching his beloved Leeds United, Ben also enjoys the great outdoors, particular, cycling and walking. When he was younger Ben’s adventure’s took him over to Vietnam where he worked as a tour quide in the Phong Nha Ka Bang national Parks and Caves!
Helen joined the Pure Team in 2021. Helen has extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of property management & administration. She is a whiz on a computer, provides friendly and helpful customer service and is a popular member of the Pure team. In her spare time, Helen loves to travel with her husband Gary both in the UK and overseas. Her endless list of hobbies include upcycling furniture, DIY, venue styling and creating handmade personalised wooden gifts. Helen loves to entertain her friends and has a bar in her garden which includes a log burner and even a detached portable toilet !
Sean joined the Pure team in 2020 as an experienced painter & decorator after completing his apprenticeship back in 2000. Sean is a valuable source of information and knowledge within this industry and he works to the highest of standards. There is nothing Sean does not know about paint products! Sean is popular with both colleagues and customers alike. He is a self confessed history geek with a keen interest in WW1 & WW2. When not working, Sean enjoys watching Thai Boxing, Snooker and participating in the odd liquid refreshment at his local hostelry in Headingley. Sean loves a salvage/skip find and is a Fred Dibnah fan.
Shane joined the PURE in 2020 and has soon become a valued member of the team. In addition to having valuable basement experience, Shane is studying to become a plumber which will further enhance is qualifications. Shane always has a smile on his face, is very polite and is well liked by everyone who meets him. When not working, Shane loves to spend family time with his partner Jodie, their two daughters Evie and Avaya and his dog Kaiser. Shane is passionate about Thai Boxing both watching and participating.
Jake joined the Pure team in 2022 as a waterproofer and general construction labourer. He has fitted very well into the Pure family and is a popular member of the team. In his free time, Jake likes to travel, particularly on cruises and has already visited 17 different countries on cruise ships.
