Our Sheffield based client Mr S, used his basement for training and storage until it flooded to 300mm deep. Mr S. had employed a contractor previously to install a “tanking” system which had failed. Pure Basement Systems designed and prepared a full specification for an effective basement waterproofing system to offer a dry basement storage facility. Pure Basement Systems designed the outline project and installed a full waterproofing system and dry-lining system. The basement conversion consisted of the installation of a full Cavity Drainage Membrane (basement waterproofing) system with an integral automatic pump to control groundwater, insulated walls/floors, and a full dry-lining solution. Humidity controlled ventilation and background heating were added to provide a suitable storage solution.
The completed project offered fantastic additional dry storage space for our client.
