Our clients, Mr and Mrs A in York required their dark, unusable flooded cellar to be converted into a dry storage facility. Pure Basement Systems designed and prepared a full specification for this basement conversion in York to create a dry storage area. The basement previously flooded regularly to 600mm deep. Pure Basement Systems designed the outline project and carried out the full basement conversion. The basement conversion consisted of the installation of a full Cavity Drainage Membrane (basement waterproofing) system with integral twin automatic sump pumps to control groundwater, insulated walls & floors, and a full dry-lining solution. Background heating and humidity controlled ventilation were installed to provide a suitable environment. Battery back-up, charging and safety controls were added to the sump pump package to provide our client with additional peace-of-mind.
