Our clients, required their damp, dark unusable cellar to be converted into a warm, dry bedroom with en-suite facilities to add space and value to their home. Pure Basement Systems designed and prepared a full specification for this basement conversion project in Otley near Leeds to enable the property owners to create valuable extra habitable space. Pure Basement Systems designed the outline project and carried out enabling structural works which included laying a high performance insulated floor slab. The basement conversion consisted of the installation of a full Cavity Drainage Membrane (basement waterproofing) system with an integral automatic sump pump to control groundwater, insulated walls and floors, and a full dry-lining solution.
The completed project now provides fantastic additional bedroom space for our client. Increasing both the available living space and value of the property.
