Mr and Mrs F our client had a basement home office which had been unsuccessfully “tanked” previously. The basement flooded during periods of heavy rainfall. Pure Basement Systems were contacted to design and prepare a full specification for the effective basement waterproofing (tanking) and basement refinishing. Pure Basement Systems designed the outline project and completed the basement conversion in York providing the required dry home office space. The basement conversion consisted of the installation of a full Cavity Drainage Membrane (basement waterproofing) system with an integral automatic pump to control groundwater, insulated walls & floors, and a full dry-lining solution. The basement conversion was then finished to a high standard with underfloor heating and oak flooring.
