Mr F our client is a property developer in London. As part of one of his developments in North London he was looking to create additional basement space and convert existing basement space into a Gymnasium and Multi-media room. The basement flooded heavily during enabling works and our client required a robust well designed basement waterproofing system as part of his build. Pure Basement Systems were contacted to design and prepare a full specification for the effective basement waterproofing (tanking) as well as pre and post waterproofing construction works. Pure Basement Systems designed the outline project and completed the basement waterproofing system in only 3 days. The basement waterproofing system consisted of the installation of a full Cavity Drainage Membrane (basement waterproofing) system with two twin integral automatic sump pumps to control ground water and a full discreet perimeter drainage system with maintenance ports to collect any water ingress at the basement perimeter. The basement waterproofing system was tested during and after installation.
