Waterproofing Remediation of Previously Tanked Basement in Bingley
The Brief:
Mr Reed contacted Pure Basement Systems for professional help when his previously waterproofed basement in Bingley, West Yorkshire showed signs of damp following the failure of the existing tanking.
The Result:
Pure Basement Systems’ CSSW qualified surveyor visited Mr Reed at his property in Bingley, near Saltaire, Shipley and Baildon to assess the problems reported. In response, Pure specified a comprehensive new waterproofing system designed to restore Mr Reed’s cellar to it’s previous dry condition and remediate all signs of dampness. The high performance cavity membrane waterproofing system was installed, complete with a twin pump assembly sump pump, perimeter drainage channels and sealed wall and floor cavity drainage membrane. High quality insulation was also situated to complete the basement waterproofing and insulation project.
The works restored Mr Reed’s basement to a habitable living area, increasing living space and value in the property.
