Barrel Vaulted Basement Conversion In Wakefield To Create Utility Room
Our client needed more space in their home as the barrel vaulted basement beneath their stone cottage situated in Flockton, Wakefield had been filled with rubble and was unusable. They contacted Pure to help them with their basement conversion project.
Pure Basement Systems designed and prepared a full specification for the basement conversion to create additional dry storage space and a utility room. We removed the rubble and fitted a bespoke basement waterproofing system consisting of a sump pump, perimeter drainage channels and sealed wall and floor cavity drainage membrane. This was followed by dry lining and a full plaster skim and bespoke joinery was performed to the client’s specification. Decorations completed the basement conversion project.
The completed basement conversion added valuable space and value to the property.
